How you will contribute

Working with internal stakeholders, you will support the brand portfolio strategy and priorities to enable consumer-centric brand portfolio growth. You will develop annual plans, set objectives, and allocate resources. Additionally, you will recommend integrated commercial plans, develop and execute marketing strategies that deliver on revenue, profit, and share objectives. Using deep consumer insights and brand positioning, you will develop and implement integrated marketing communications and 360-degree campaigns.

Key responsibilities:

  • Head of the Chocolate team ($330M, 15 people), responsible for category growth, portfolio/brand strategy, and co-leading the customer (trade) marketing aspects of the multisegment chocolate category (tablets, seasonals, confectionery), aiming to drive growth (index 200 vs bakery) in the French V30;
  • Member of the marketing leadership team and the French extended leadership team;
  • Manage and develop a team of 15 FTEs (12 permanent, 3 trainees);
  • Co-lead the total French marketing engagement agenda;
  • Represent France Chocolate in key MEU meetings (BDM, GATs, etc.);
  • Deliver annual financial targets (own the P&L) and manage the category advertising & promotion budget;
  • Define, develop, and oversee the brand and portfolio strategy aligned with overall Mondelez business strategy and financial targets for short and long-term periods to achieve mid-single-digit year-on-year growth;
  • Identify major business growth opportunities and influence the organization and senior stakeholders to secure support and resources, including building the seasonals business;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including marketing heads in other commercial units/hubs.

What you will bring

  • 15 years of experience, with sales experience as a strong advantage;
  • Previous experience in FMCG companies, preferably in a matrix and international environment;
  • Experience managing large and complex businesses with P&L ownership;
  • Leadership of large teams;
  • GM profile with an end-to-end business approach, impact-driven, with a strong results orientation.
