UK-Based QSR Brand | International Expansion | Retail & Restaurant Sector
We are recruiting on behalf of a highly successful UK-based Quick Service Restaurant that is entering an exciting new phase of international growth. With an expanding footprint across Europe, the brand is now seeking an experienced, commercially-minded Head of Marketing – France to lead all marketing activity across the French market.
This is a critical leadership role that will suit a strategic marketer with a strong understanding of the French consumer landscape, and proven experience in launching or growing retail or restaurant brands locally. The successful candidate will be based in Paris and work closely with the UK headquarters to adapt and execute a marketing strategy that drives brand visibility, footfall, and revenue across company-owned and franchised locations in France.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the local marketing strategy for France, aligned with group-level objectives but tailored to the French customer, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Lead all marketing activity including brand campaigns, new store launches, digital and performance marketing, local activations, influencer partnerships, PR, social media, and in-store promotions.
- Work closely with operations, franchisees, and the UK-based brand and creative teams to ensure consistent brand execution and high-quality customer engagement across all touchpoints.
- Use data and insights to shape campaign activity, measure performance, and continuously optimise return on investment.
- Stay on top of market trends, customer behaviours, and competitors to ensure the brand remains culturally relevant and commercially competitive in the French market.
- Manage external agencies, media partners, and suppliers as needed to deliver best-in-class campaigns.
- Over time, build and manage a small, high-performing local marketing team to support the brand’s growth ambitions in France.
- Be an ambassador for the brand in France, providing input into wider business decisions and contributing to the commercial success of the territory.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A senior marketing professional with 7+ years of experience in QSR, restaurant, hospitality, or multi-site retail businesses.
- Deep understanding of the French market – culturally, commercially, and operationally – with experience driving local market launches, campaigns, or growth strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Bilingual – fluent in French and English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and highly organised – comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where flexibility and adaptability are key.
- Track record of delivering measurable results across brand building, customer acquisition, and local marketing execution.
