Division: HR & Communications

The Role:

The HR Client facing team is part of the larger People & Communication (P&C) Division, working alongside Centres of Expertise (COEs) focused on Talent and People, Reward, HR Legal, and Corporate Communications. The team comprises approximately 30 dedicated professionals. Through the People Strategy, we support the group’s business objectives and Euroclear’s ambition to be a great place to work for all.

We are currently seeking a P&C Country Head for the France office (+/- 350 employees) and an HR Business Partner for ESES (+/- 160 employees). ESES includes Euroclear Belgium, Euroclear France, and Euroclear Nederland.

Responsibilities:

Country Head of France responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with COEs to implement group projects, processes (performance management, compensation, function framework), and policies locally.
  • Manage employee relations and facilitate social dialogue.
  • Stay informed on local legislation related to P&C matters and implement necessary changes.
  • Work with the Euroclear Group Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) team to develop and execute the D&I action plan for France.
  • Provide input on French employment practices and legislation to group processes and practices.
  • Oversee the deployment of the local training plan.

HR BP responsibilities:

  • Work with ESES management to interpret business needs and align people strategies accordingly.
  • Translate business strategies into organizational priorities and facilitate discussions with leadership.
  • Develop organizational change and communication plans with the Communications team and leaders.
  • Design decision-making approaches regarding talent management and assess impacts.
  • Assist in creating strategic talent plans based on data and budgets.
  • Partner with recruitment to promote D&I and inclusive hiring practices.
  • Manage the Performance Management Process for ESES and provide insights on leadership effectiveness.
  • Offer coaching to senior leaders to enhance leadership capabilities.

Skills required:

  • Minimum 10 years of general HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of French employment law and extensive employee relations experience.
  • Experience in end-to-end HR change processes and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proven ability to influence C-Suite stakeholders and drive organizational change.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data into business insights.
