Mode Search is proud to be supporting a globally recognised luxury fashion brand in the search for a Head of HR. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and influence the HR direction across several key markets, working at the heart of a brand known for creativity, craftsmanship, and cultural impact.

This role is based in Paris and reports directly to the Global HR Director. It requires regular travel to engage with teams and ensure alignment across all markets. The position is part of the senior leadership team and will be pivotal in both strategic planning and operational delivery of HR initiatives.

The Role

  • Lead and represent HR across European markets, from boutique teams to senior stakeholders
  • Manage, coach, and inspire a high-performing HR team across multiple countries
  • Design and deliver impactful people strategies across talent development, employee relations, compensation, and learning
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on organisational growth, structure, and culture
  • Handle complex employee relations cases, performance management, and organisational restructures
  • Develop and roll out learning and development programmes that support employee growth and engagement
  • Oversee senior recruitment processes and support succession planning and talent pipeline development
  • Contribute to global HR projects, acting as a key liaison between regional and corporate teams

Requirements

  • Extensive senior HR leadership experience, ideally within the luxury retail or fashion sector
  • Strong knowledge of European HR practices and employment law
  • Proven ability to influence and lead change across culturally diverse teams
  • Fluent in French; Italian is a strong advantage
  • High emotional intelligence with a coaching, empowering leadership style
  • Commercial mindset with a strategic yet hands-on approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment where no two days are the same
