Job summary

Teamwill Consulting is pioneering Forward Deployed Engineering within its CTAIO function. This founding leadership role reports directly to the CTAIO and the CEO, and you will build the practice from close to zero, hire engineers, and prove a delivery model where a small, elite team delivers durable client value.

You will own engagement models, asset security-by-design, and a standing contribution to Teamwill’s shared codebases, while collaborating across international teams and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in client or customer environments.
• Experience with deployed engineering or solutions engineering in AI-native contexts.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the FDE team: define the structure, hire engineers, and set standards from day one.
• Personally take the most difficult client engagements, designing and deploying solutions.
• Own the engagement model: commitment-based delivery with efficient utilization.
• Own AI and asset security-by-design, and compliance-by-design for deployments.
• Feed client learnings into Teamwill’s shared asset codebases and portfolio.
• Use AI coding agents to accelerate porting and maintain context across engagements.
• Represent the FDE to clients, prospects, and internal teams.
