Marso Robotics is seeking a Head of Finance to build and lead the finance function from the ground up in Paris. You will design governance cadences, align the business plan with the board, and own the P&L, cash and financing strategy.

You will partner with leaders to connect budgeting, forecasting and operational metrics to secure Series A funding and scale the company while maintaining rigorous financial controls.

Qualifications

• Blends governance, FP&A, operations and governance experience with ownership mindset.
• Autonomous, hands-on leader capable of building structure in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong data and AI fluency with tools such as Claude to automate analysis and sharpen forecasts.
• Able to challenge decisions and communicate clearly with founders and stakeholders.
• 10-12 years of experience, including 4-5 years in consulting; industrial/hardware startup experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

We are looking for our Head of Finance to progressively build out the finance function from the ground up.

Responsibilities

Governance & Strategic Alignment

• Help design, build and safeguard the company's governance cadence, ensuring continuity between strategic planning, leadership decisions, company-wide communication and execution
• Partner with the Chief of Staff to connect the Business Plan, budget, COMEX and Board into one consistent governance and decision-making framework, extending to Marso's team management

Financial Planning & Business Partnering

• Build and own the RaaS unit economics model: robot revenue, cost, fleet financing, operational costs, support and contribution margin
• Translate the Business Plan into financial terms: P&L, cash, runway, financing needs, resource allocation, scenarios and consistency with the budget
• Partner with the AI front-end developer to build the performance management system, connecting financial data with sales, product, delivery, robot and People metrics into a shared source of truth and a real steering cockpit
• Oversee the financial governance of Flow (transparent salary house and equity), ensuring consistency between levels, compensation, hiring, equity and budget

Financial Operations & Reporting

• Build the Finance function and supervise accounting, tax and financial administration with external partners
• Drive the reliability, automation and clarity of financial reporting
• Lead the annual budget process, reforecasts and tracking of actuals against budget
• Prepare the path to Series A
• Manage cash, runway and the company's financing trajectory
• Prepare financial materials required for investors, bank financing and non-dilutive funding

Profile

• Blends strategic finance, FP&A, business operations and governance experience, with a genuine ownership mindset
• Autonomous, hands-on and capable of building structure in a fast-moving environment
• Strong data and AI fluency, including tools such as Claude, to automate analysis and sharpen forecasts
• Able to challenge decisions, communicate clearly and work effectively with founders and varied stakeholders
• 10-12 years of experience, including at least 4-5 years in consulting. Prior experience in an industrial or hardware business, as well as in a growing startup, is a strong plus
• Solid financial fundamentals, with sufficient accounting and tax literacy to supervise these areas effectively
