The PCD Europe Team is part of PCD WORLDWIDE, managing all European subsidiaries to implement business measures that sustain or achieve business leadership.

Within this team, the HEAD OF CONTROLLING Europe supports the finance director as a business partner to the general management of Team Europe. The position is based in Neuilly Sur Seine.

Missions

As HEAD OF CONTROLLING Europe, you will assist the FINANCE DIRECTOR in planning, analyzing, reviewing, steering, and forecasting the financial performance of PCD in Europe to foster business leadership and improve results. You will manage one junior controller and one intern (to be hired) and ensure the finance team acts as a business partner for Team Europe and our subsidiaries. In a context of lower topline opportunities, your role is crucial in helping the Regional Director Committee transform the business to enhance efficiency and profitability.

Financial Controlling
  • Sales & P&L Controlling: Report and analyze actual sales performance versus objectives and last year, including breakdowns by period, market, products, franchises, channels, and retailers, with a focus on commercial terms.
  • Coordinate with supply chain monthly to align market outlooks with logistics forecasts.
  • Report and analyze actual profit & loss statements versus objectives and last year, including trade terms, gross margin, OPEX by category, and operating profit.
  • Control OPEX budgets of the regional structure (Team Europe).
Budgeting/Forecasting
  • Set financial objectives by market.
  • Coordinate with Central Finance and Markets to ensure process adherence and support.
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and consolidation of key data (sales, OPEX, media, CAPEX, P&L, KPI).
Business Partnering & Transformation Support
  • Act as a business partner for all relevant stakeholders, including Team Europe, Central Accounting, and subsidiary finance teams, especially in challenging economic conditions.
  • Provide strong analysis on retailers' trade terms, distribution, and retailer clustering.
Systems
  • Participate in FP&A and business monitoring system developments aligned with regional needs and projects.
  • Develop automated dashboards to monitor action plans for increased efficiency.
Profil

Who You Are

  • Business school graduate with at least 7 years of professional experience in controlling, preferably in the beauty or consumer goods industry after 3 years in audit.
  • Solid knowledge of financial reporting, analysis, and planning.
  • First management experience is appreciated.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Business-oriented, ambitious, flexible, open-minded, solution-driven.
  • Strong communication and soft skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of controlling tools (SAP, Excel, and others).
