Sanofi is seeking a Head of Benefit-Risk and Pharmacoepidemiology (BR & PVEpi) based in Gentilly. You will lead global epidemiology and BR strategies across all GBUs, drive innovations in safety signal detection, and shape external policy with regulators and academia.

The role requires deep expertise in real-world data and leading cross-functional teams. The Head will ensure regulatory-compliant studies, provide epidemiology guidance to senior safety governance bodies, and drive strategic

Qualifications

Ph.D. or MD with advanced degree in Biomedical Sciences or Public Health preferred.
Minimum 15 years in Epidemiology, Benefit-Risk Evaluation, Risk Management and related fields with PhD.
Minimum 12 years in Epidemiology, Benefit-Risk Evaluation and related fields with MD.
Experience in pharmaceutical industry and external partnerships.
Travel up to 25% may be required.

Responsabilités

Provide overall Epidemiology and BR strategies for safety issues across all GBUs.
Be accountable for Epidemiology PASS and BR evaluations for internal decision making.
Lead and manage the Epi & BR team, developing capabilities and budgets.
Provide leadership in external partnerships and public-private collaborations.
Shape external policy and guidance in Epi & BR with regulators and academia.
Drive Real-World Data strategies for rapid access and analysis.
