Job summary

Konvu in Paris seeks a Head of Engineering to build and lead our engineering team and set the technical foundation for what we ship next. You’ll own the team, the direction, and the delivery pace, while staying close to the code and to customers.

You’ll hire and coach engineers, define scalable architecture, and push AI at the center of how we work. This onsite role requires strong English, a passion for security tooling, and a track record of shipping fast with a small team.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of engineering teams and ability to grow engineers.
• Experience scaling a team during rapid growth and shipping with small teams.
• Strong systems thinking, architecture, testing, and operational excellence.
• Comfort with AI-first engineering and turning product strategy into technical delivery.
• Clear English communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to hire, mentor, and maintain ownership within a team.
• On-site work in Paris and ability to work closely with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team, hire, coach, and grow engineers into a high-output group.
• Own delivery by turning product strategy into a roadmap the team can ship against.
• Set technical direction and architecture choices for scalable AI-powered systems.
• Build the team AI-forward and embed AI as a core competency in practices.
• Scale the team without sacrificing velocity, addressing process, on-call, and debt.
• Stay close to customers; translate learnings into technical priorities and roadmaps.
• Shape the engineering culture and standards for long-term success.
