They create the tools and resources for their customers requirement to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams.

To support our client’s continued growth, they are currently looking to hire aHead of Design & Construction in Paris.


Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, planning, and execution of data centerinfrastructure projects, from site evaluation through commissioning.
• Develop and maintain robust standards for data center electrical, mechanical, and cooling system designs.
• Oversee external design consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with technical requirements, quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support in design reviews for power distribution, UPS, backup generators, HVAC, and liquid/air cooling systems.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including operations, IT, procurement, and sustainability teams to align infrastructure designs with business objectives.
• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, environmental standards, and global best practices.
• Manage CAPEX forecasting and budgeting for construction projects.
• Monitor construction progress, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements in design and execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in data centerdesign and construction, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with mission-critical systems, including power distribution, mechanical systems, and advanced cooling technologies.
• Strong understanding of Tier I-IV data centerclassifications and related design principles.
• Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale data centerbuilds.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
