What's the role?

It’s an incredibly exciting time to join the Hilti strategic marketing team! We are redesigning the digital future of Hilti and are looking for new team members to play an integral part in our digital transformation journey. As Head of Content, you will work in a global, multicultural, collaborative, fun and agile work environment. You are responsible for building empowered agile teams to create effective content that maximizes impact with our customers across all channels and marketing tactics.

What does the role involve?

As Head of Content, you act as a team lead for the content creation teams in Paris and Schaan (Liechtenstein). You are responsible for building empowered agile teams that create content across all channels and marketing tactics to maximize its impact with our customers. You directly lead a team of creative managers, graphic designers, and copywriters in both locations and are responsible for talent and organizational development. Furthermore, together with your colleagues in the leadership team, you develop the discipline of content including a content strategy and framework. You are responsible for creating the most impactful set-up, org-structures, processes, and ways of working with our regions and markets. You continuously optimize collaboration within our internal teams and with external workbenches and agencies. Furthermore, you define the required processes and tech setup. You are responsible for how we create content overall at Hilti at all levels of the organization as well as make-or-buy decisions and global agency agreements. You create an environment that allows the different agile content-creating teams to flourish in their creativity and ability to maximize the impact of our marketing strategies and tactics in close collaboration with the different product owners and the markets. You manage stakeholders at all levels across multiple departments and functions and ensure value creation for our customers and the company.

What you need is:

  • At least 7 years of experience in leadership positions in marketing
  • Experience in complex stakeholder management
  • High business understanding and ability to develop strategies and concepts paired with strong implementation skills
  • Ideally a background in marketing, end-to-end content development, deployment, and measurement, with a good understanding of the international agency business
  • Hands-on, performance-driven, process-oriented, and a “make things happen” attitude
