Volt Café Brûlerie, located on the French Atlantic coast, is looking for a Head Barista.

About the Role We’re seeking a Head Barista with a true passion for specialty coffee and customer service to join our dynamic team. You’ll be at the heart of our cafés, ensuring both the quality of our drinks and the warm, welcoming experience our customers know us for. The Head Barista plays a key role in maintaining beverage excellence across all our locations. If you love crafting exceptional coffee and leading others to do the same, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities • Develop and maintain coffee recipes with clear, accessible procedures for all baristas • Standardize recipes across our cafés • Train and coach the barista team to ensure consistency and professionalism • Inspire and motivate the team daily • Support and deliver both internal and external training content

Your Profile • You have several years of experience as a barista in specialty coffee, ideally already in a Head Barista or similar leadership role • You’re passionate about all things coffee, from espresso to every imaginable brew method • Terms like “anaerobic process” and “TDS” are part of your everyday vocabulary • You’re organized and able to manage your time effectively in a fast-paced environment • You’re detail-oriented and committed to high-quality service

Start date: September Location: Primarily at our flagship café in Hossegor Schedule: 35 hours/week, including weekends, two consecutive days off. Full working days (no split shifts).
