GEODIS is seeking an experienced HCM Project Manager to lead and deliver our global Human Capital Management (HCM) initiatives. This role involves driving HR technology projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet business objectives and are executed on time and within budget. As an HCM Project Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple countries to implement innovative HCM solutions that enhance our HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Lead and coordinate the overall GEODIS HCM project execution, ensuring the delivery of each milestone on schedule and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, budgets, and deliverables aligned with GEODIS HR strategies and organizational structure.
- Support the Process & Team Director in preparing and obtaining approval from the GEODIS investment committee for project funding and resources.
- Track and report on project budgets regularly, providing analysis and updates.
- Organize and facilitate project committee meetings with relevant stakeholders to review progress, updates, and issues.
- Identify risks and issues, report transparently, and adjust plans accordingly to keep projects on track.
- Collaborate with the integration team to ensure smooth implementation of new HCM systems with minimal disruption.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management:
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with external vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders including Project sponsors, IT, HR, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Compliance teams.
- Foster collaboration across different functions and geographies (Americas, APAC, ME, Europe) to ensure alignment and buy-in.
- Proactively address potential conflicts or disengagement among stakeholders with action plans.
- Change Management and Training:
- Partner with Change Managers to develop change management strategies and user training programs.
- Work with HR leaders to promote adoption of new HCM processes and technology.
- Champion new systems and processes to ensure user support and adoption.
- Post-Implementation Support:
- Coordinate post-implementation reviews and handovers to operational teams.
- Ensure resolution of outstanding issues and measurement of success metrics.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree (BAC+5) in IT or Project Management.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive project management experience, including leadership of global IT projects.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects in a multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
- Experience with HRIS/HCM platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) is highly desirable.
- Mandatory project management certification; Agile experience required; Scrum Master or Agile PM certifications (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP) are a plus.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with data-driven decision-making ability.
- Ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones, understanding diverse HR practices and regulations.
