Job summary

Loadstar seeks a Chemical Loader to safely load and unload liquid hazardous materials into railcars and trucks, following all company and customer procedures.

Role emphasizes strict safety, PPE usage, and DOT weight monitoring, with on-the-job training and potential advancement opportunities. English fluency required; 18+ and legally able to work in the US. Physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Must follow OSHA safety standards and be safety conscious.
• Must possess TWIC card and valid Driver's License with reliable transport.
• Must be 18+ and legally able to work in the US.
• Demonstrated stable work history with positive references.
• Must pass drug screening, physical, and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Position railcars/trucks at loading rack and verify product compatibility.
• Visually inspect vehicles for defects and safety compliance.
• Wear required PPE to ensure personal safety during transfer.
• Connect loading equipment and perform transfers per procedures.
• Monitor product weight to meet DOT requirements.
• Communicate with site leaders and report issues promptly.
• Disconnect equipment and inspect for leaks; complete paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support safe operations.
