Qualifications

• Requires CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements.
• 1 year experience within last 3 years or completion of FedEx Driver Development.
• Must have acceptable MVR per hiring standards.
• Must meet DOT FMC regs under 391.
• LCV operation in specified states; meet standards.
• Basic written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lift ~100 pounds for hook/unhook.
• Sits for extended periods; capable of bending, twisting, climbing.
• Able to work independently or in a team; shows initiative.

Responsabilités

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles/triples where applicable.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies to/from a tractor or trailer.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Maintain accurate daily logs.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays or problems.
• Load and unload freight as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
