Job Title: Hardware Engineer

Our primary goal is to Save More Lives, and our products never get a second chance, so quality is paramount. We are seeking a Hardware Engineer to join our Hardware Team within a multidisciplinary project team, focusing on the development of innovative and platform electronic products related to safety.

Responsibilities:

1. Propose and share technical solutions with the Innovation team and Design Concept Leader, analyzing the state of the art and developing innovative automotive and mobility solutions.
2. Analyze customer specifications and standards during RFQ phases, identifying technical risks related to cost, time, or quality.
3. Collaborate with the HW team and Design Leader to consider lessons learned, specifications, design for manufacturing, quality, cost, safety, and software constraints.
4. Perform architecture and detailed hardware design, component selection, worst-case calculations, simulations, schematics, layout specifications, and participate in reviews.
5. Develop HW-SW interface strategies and participate in design FMEA, component reliability studies, and fault tree analysis.
6. Select components, define mock-ups, and collaborate with suppliers on technology roadmaps.
7. Create purchase specifications and configure shields for software development.
