Within the Schneider Electric Industrial Automation unit, the Electronics Industrialization team focuses on supporting R&D teams in charge of designing our mechatronic products, from the prototype phase through to production.
We guarantee compliance with manufacturing rules (DFx) and ensure the analysis and definition of our production resources; we participate in the construction of our lines and their qualifications within our factories or in partnership with our subcontractors.
Your role:
Reporting to the Head of Electronics Industrialization Europe (Pascal) within the Industrial Automation BU, you will act as an expert, project manager and representative of the plants in relation to the design centers. You will specify the needs of production systems in line with R&D requirements and the tests needed to guarantee a defined level of quality. You will set up and validate the systems, and be responsible for them right through to series production.
You will be responsible for ensuring that budgets are respected, constantly improving production machinery and production lines, optimizing testing resources, and keeping abreast of new technologies and possible innovations. You will contribute to the development process by following the principles of Agile methodology. The resources will also have to comply with cybersecurity and Industrial IT requirements. The integration of artificial intelligence and advanced data management is an important point in the development of the resources of the future.
Your missions:
As part of the industrialization project team for a new offering, you will work with R&D to develop the specification of the series production test to guarantee product quality, with performance meeting the requirements of cycle time, the SPS production system (traceability, data collection, means maintenance, etc.) and Quality (TFMEA, stability control, means capabilities, etc.).
You will work closely with the R&D teams to improve product development well upstream of production, in order to achieve the expected level of quality.
You are in charge of implementing the equipment, with the support of our suppliers: request for quotation, technical and financial selection, schedule follow-up, compliance with investment budget, qualification phases, on-site installation and final acceptance, user training.
You will cooperate with the Industrialization team, the R&D teams and the plant team who will assist with production start-up and receive the equipment.
You will lead projects related to innovation in your field, skills enhancement and standards development, in cooperation with your counterparts in other Industrial Automation and Schneider Electric organizations.
Your profile:
Industrial Electronics and IT engineer, with at least 3 to 5 years' experience in the field of industrial testing and architecture. You have a good knowledge of testability analysis (Design for test, DFT), are curious and interested in the new Indus 5.0 methods.
