Qualifications

  • 5+ ans d'expérience en finance et/ou stratégie, dont 3 ans en cabinet de conseil.
  • Exposition à M&A serait un plus.
  • Capacité d'influencer et interaction avec des parties prenantes de haut niveau.

Responsabilités

  • Contribuer à la préparation des mises à jour stratégiques pour le Comex et le Conseil d'administration.
  • Soutenir le processus de planification stratégique et mener des études transversales.

You will work at the head office of the Sodexo group, located in Issy-Les-Moulineaux, accessible from Paris by RER C, Tram T2 from La Défense and Porte de Versailles or metro line 12.

CONTEXT

You will support the strategic planning process for the company and contribute to different strategic studies or projects. Reporting to Head of Strategic planning, you will be part of the Group Strategic Planning team of 3 people and will interact frequently with stakeholders from many functions and countries in the organization.

MISSIONS

Group Strategic Planning process

Enable the strategic plan process from ambition to execution by

  • Apply continued progress on the process (guidance, training, ability to stop if not relevant anymore…)
  • Support strategic planning resources in the regions as well as the senior executives to develop their medium/long-term ambition and 5-year plan following the Sodexo Strategic Planning Process,
  • Contribute to feeding and animating the strategic planning community to continuously improve the planning process and to share lessons learnt from internal and external (market & competition in particular ; analyses & projects in the different Segments/Regions/Activities.)

Ad-hoc strategic studies and M&A support:

  • Lead or contribute to ad-hoc transverse projects and strategic studies aimed at highlighting development potential in new geographies or services or at identifying possible improvements in our practices. As such, you will also contribute to our competitive analysis, feeding competitive watch and analysis with specific outlooks.
  • Contribute to strategic assessments on M&A opportunities (e.g. strategic rationale, market …) collaborating closely with M&A team

Strategy communication and executive presentations :

  • Contribute to prepare strategic updates for Comex and Board of Directors including the presentation of strategic framework and priorities, Group mid-term financial plan, and reporting and monitoring of strategy execution.
  • Produce strategic content for external audiences, collaborating with Investor relations team.

PROFILE

  • 5+ years of experience in finance and/or strategy, including at least 3 years in a consulting firm
  • M&A exposure would be a plus
  • Financial acumen and strong analytical skills required
  • Strong complex project management skills, in a cross-functional, multi-country environment
  • Self-starter profile, capable of influencing, ability to interact with high-level stakeholders
  • Ability to listen, synthetize and recommend
  • Highly flexible, with an ability to work in a changing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Strong command of PowerPoint and Excel.
