Mission

This position is based at CMA CGM headquarters in Marseille and reports to the Group Security Operations Center (GSOC) within GSI (Group Security & Intelligence). The GSOC Deputy Manager reports directly to the Deputy Vice President of GSI/Responsable GSOC. The role involves managing and monitoring security operations for the group, with a focus on illicit trafficking.

Responsibilities

1. Assist the GSOC manager in supervising daily security operations, supporting project management, team oversight, and budget management to ensure smooth team functioning.
2. Monitor and assign tasks within the Illicit Trafficking Unit, contribute to post-incident analyses, and propose improvements to mitigate risks.
3. Establish and maintain communication channels with internal stakeholders (GSI: RSO, GIC, and other departments) and external entities (authorities, WSC, etc.).
4. Organize and deliver training and awareness programs on safety practices for employees and institutional audiences.

Reporting and Other Duties

The role reports functionally and hierarchically to the Head of GSOC and involves participation in on-call duty rotations, with some travel required.

Candidate Profile

Required qualifications include a Master's degree or equivalent, with 3 to 5 years of experience in security within an international group, public institutions with security roles, or relevant roles within CMA CGM. Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
