Procurement faces key challenges aligned with AXA's ambitions: efficiency, transformation, risk management, and compliance. The Group Procurement team ensures AXA's compliance with Solvency II regulations on outsourcing.

The primary role of the Group Procurement Outsourcing Expert is to independently manage the outsourcing framework and community across approximately 45 AXA entities, raising awareness and ensuring compliance with Solvency II and related regulations.

This role involves close collaboration with AXA entities, Group Risk Management, and supervisory authorities when needed. It requires influencing skills and proactive engagement with various stakeholders across multiple countries.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and monitoring the outsourcing framework to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Reviewing and updating outsourcing policies and guidelines
  • Managing notifications and formal requests from authorities
  • Developing and maintaining internal control frameworks
  • Leading the annual critical outsourcing inventory and ensuring participation
  • Overseeing reporting processes and data analysis
  • Leading the outsourcing community to facilitate information sharing and decision-making
  • Supporting entities in implementing outsourcing frameworks
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and sharing best practices
  • Managing risk issues aligned with AXA's risk appetite
  • Leveraging assets to support outsourcing processes and local implementations

We seek candidates with the following experience and skills:

Experience:

  • At least 10 years in Financial Services, including 5 years in Procurement or Third-Party Risk Management
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and controls
  • Experience working within a global organization

Technical and Professional Skills:

  • Understanding of financial industry regulations
  • Ability to interpret regulatory documents into clear requirements
  • Experience in process simplification and analysis
  • Strong organizational skills and reliability
  • Leadership in collaborative environments
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver timely results
  • Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to senior management

Languages:

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); Spanish is a plus
