Procurement must address key challenges related to AXA’s ambition: Efficiency, Transformation, Risk Management, and Compliance. As such, Group Procurement is responsible for ensuring AXA’s compliance with Solvency II regulation on outsourcing. The primary mission of the Group Procurement Outsourcing Expert will be to manage and drive the outsourcing framework and community across all in-scope AXA entities (approximately 45 entities), raise awareness, and ensure compliance with Solvency II regulations. The role requires close collaboration with AXA entities, Group Risk Management, and supervisory authorities when necessary. Effective influencing and driving skills are essential, as the role involves interacting with various teams and stakeholders across multiple countries without formal authority.

Main Missions

1. Implement and monitor the Outsourcing framework: Ensure compliance with Solvency II and other regulations, review and update policies, manage notifications from entities, respond to supervisory requests, and develop the internal control framework.
2. Lead the annual Critical Outsourcing Inventory: Oversee participation from all entities, coordinate reporting, analyze data, and prepare regulatory reports.
3. Animate and lead the Outsourcing Community: Share information and decisions, support entities, monitor regulatory developments, share best practices, and escalate/manage risks aligned with AXA’s risk appetite.
4. Leverage and develop assets: Support entities in implementing local processes considering specificities.

Qualifications

We seek candidates with:

• Bachelor’s degree minimum; Master’s preferred
• At least 10 years of work experience, preferably in Financial Services, including 5+ years in Procurement or Third Party Risk Management
• Knowledge of procurement processes and controls
• Experience working within a global company
• Understanding of financial industry regulatory frameworks
• Ability to interpret regulatory documentation clearly
• Experience in process simplification
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver timely, high-quality results
• Excellent communication skills, especially with senior management
• Proactivity, autonomy, and rigor in execution
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus
• Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders in an international, multicultural environment
