Job summary

Europcar Mobility Group is seeking a Group Market Controlling & Strategy Intern to support the execution, monitoring and governance of the Group Strategic Plan. You will ensure accurate tracking of initiatives across countries via the Cataligent Cat4 platform and help maintain data quality for management reporting.

In this role you will coordinate with country stakeholders, prepare management summaries, and assist the team in improving reporting processes within an international environment.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years finance experience, preferably with international exposure.
  • Fluent English mandatory; French and Spanish are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support maintenance and update of the Group Strategic Initiatives database in Cataligent Cat4.
  • Monitor progress of strategic initiatives across countries and functions with data accuracy.
  • Coordinate with country controllers and initiative owners for updates.
  • Assist in consolidating country information into Group reporting and dashboards.
  • Prepare regular reports and management summaries for senior leadership.

POSITION TITLE - Group Market Controlling & Strategy Intern

JOB DESCRIPTION

Support the execution, monitoring and governance of the Group Strategic Plan by ensuring the accurate tracking of strategic initiatives across all countries and corporate functions through the Group Transformation Management platform (Cataligent / Cat4).

Play an active role in maintaining the quality of the information within the tool, supporting the monitoring of implementation progress, coordinating with country stakeholders, and preparing management reporting to facilitate decision-making.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
  • Support the maintenance and continuous update of the Group Strategic Initiatives database within the Cataligent platform.
  • Monitor implementation progress of strategic initiatives across countries and functions, ensuring data accuracy, completeness and consistency.
  • Follow up with country controllers, initiative owners and functional stakeholders to collect and validate progress updates.
  • Support the consolidation of finance country information into Group-level reporting and dashboards.
  • Prepare regular reports, presentations and management summaries for senior leadership.
  • Perform data quality checks and identify inconsistencies, missing information or reporting gaps.
  • Support the preparation of Steering Committees, Transformation Reviews and Strategic Performance meetings.
  • Assist the Group Market Controlling team in analyzing initiative performance, identifying risks, delays and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy team to ensure alignment between strategic planning and execution tracking.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes, governance and the use of the Cataligent platform.
  • Support ad-hoc analyses related to strategic projects, business performance and transformation initiatives.

EDUCATION

1 / 2 years' finance experience preferably including international experience in finance support, business or Final-year Bachelor or Master's student in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.

LANGUAGES
  • Fluent English (mandatory)
  • French and Spanish are a plus.
