Job Description:

Expertise France is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join the Gender Flagship team as a Group Activities Coordinator. The Coordination Officer for group activities will support the organization of activities within the project, including study visits and workshops.

Main tasks include:

  1. Develop, plan, and implement group activities aligned with project goals and beneficiary expectations.
  2. Lead the development of technical content for activities.
  3. Facilitate engaging and inclusive sessions promoting active participation.
  4. Collaborate with the project team for planning, implementation, and monitoring.
  5. Draft terms of reference, prepare background information, and support logistical arrangements.
  6. Manage schedules and coordinate with stakeholders to meet deadlines.
  7. Oversee on-site logistics during events.
  8. Conduct post-activity evaluations and prepare reports.
  9. Coordinate with the team during the capitalization phase to consolidate knowledge and document lessons learned.

Expertise France's project aims to foster gender mainstreaming into public policies across seven EU countries, focusing on assessing policy impacts and addressing gender inequalities through tools like Gender Budgeting, Gender Action Plans, and Gender Impact Assessment. The project involves capacity building, operational implementation, and knowledge capitalization.

Qualifications include:

  • Master's degree in political science, economics, international cooperation, or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of gender equality and mainstreaming tools.
  • Experience supporting public institutions and organizing group activities.
  • Proficiency in English; French skills are a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Office software, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
