Job Description

Exotrail is looking for a Ground Segment Software Engineer for the exploitation of its in-orbit fleet of Spacevan LEO and GEO satellites. Within the IOS Mission team, you will be responsible for designing and developping software systems for operating our Satellite Control Center (SCC).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement services of our Satellite Control Center in coordination with the Ground Segment Software Architect
• Develop interfaces for our Satellite Control Center, including command & control, mission planning, data processing, and visualisation
• Create tools to automate satellite operations, tracking and data processing, in order to minimize daily operators tasks
• Write, integrate and test ground software with satellites, ground stations and network infrastructure
• Participate in the definition and continuous improvement of our Ground segment with our Satellite Operators, based on lessons learned and expertise

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in spacecraft, ground stations or communication system operations
• 4+ years of experience in Software development with Typescript
• Experience with Typescript Backend and Frontend frameworks like NestJS, Angular, React, VueJS...
• Rigorous and paying attention to details
