FlightSafety International is seeking a Ground School Instructor to deliver exceptional ground instruction in line with aviation regulations and FlightSafety Training principles.

You will conduct pilot ground training for clients across core, specialty or enrichment courses, and develop materials to support delivery that meets client needs. You will evaluate progress, maintain records and ensure instructor qualifications in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Purpose of Position

The Ground School Instructor delivers exceptional ground instruction in accordance with aviation regulations and FlightSafety Training principles.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Conduct pilot ground training for clients receiving core, specialty or enrichment training courses.
• Develop and prepare training materials that support training delivery to meet the client needs in accordance with the applicable curriculum.
• Evaluate and measure trainee progress and recommend for qualification, or additional training.
• Complete accurate training records specific to each client, aiding their success in achieving the requested objective(s).
• Identify client training issues and seek assistance prior to execution.
• Maintain Instructor qualifications in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Minimum Experience

• Experience in the aviation industry: Must be a professional pilot (ATPL theory) or have significant experience in aviation, particularly in the armed forces, air traffic control, or aeronautical engineering.
• Excellent interpersonal and teaching skills: Demonstrate a genuine ability to teach, active listening skills, and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and in a structured manner.
• Languages: Good command of English is required to conduct training sessions and communicate using appropriate terminology.
