FlightSafety International, located in Paris, is seeking a Maintenance Instructor to deliver exceptional ground and practical instruction. The ideal candidate will have five years of aviation maintenance experience and be capable of managing classes effectively.

Responsibilities include conducting maintenance training, developing training materials, and evaluating trainee progress. The position requires sound knowledge of aviation safety standards, FlightSafety standards, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage classes and teach effectively.

Purpose of Position

The Maintenance Instructor delivers exceptional ground and/or practical instruction in accordance with FlightSafety Training principles and applicable regulations.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Conduct maintenance ground and/or practical training for clients receiving core or specialty training courses.
  • Develop and prepare training materials that support training delivery to meet the client needs in accordance with the applicable curriculum.
  • Evaluate and measure trainee progress and recommend for additional training, if required.
  • Complete accurate training records specific to each client, aiding their success in achieving the requested objective(s).
  • Identify client training issues and seek assistance prior to execution.
  • Maintain Instructor qualifications in accordance with regulatory requirements.

  • Knowledge of aviation maintenance safety standards and practices
  • Knowledge of common FlightSafety standards and applicable aviation regulations
  • Ability to manage classes and teach effectively
  • First-level facilitation skills
  • First-level customer service skills
  • Ability to be coachable and receive feedback to support development
  • Five years aviation maintenance experience
