Defence Conseil International (DCI) is the reference operator for the French Ministry of the Armed Forces for transferring French military expertise abroad. Within the COFRAS branch, you will act as an artillery expert for Ground-Based Air Defence (GBAD) and, as an Instructor, prepare and deliver operational training to a VL MICA unit for our client.

Defence Conseil International (DCI) is the reference operator for the Ministry of the Armed Forces for the transfer of French military expertise abroad.

For over 50 years, nearly 1000 employees have accompanied France's partner countries from the European Union and NATO through consulting, training and technical assistance assignments in the field of defence and security.

Your main responsibilities

Within the COFRAS branch, you are recognised as an expert in artillery for the Ground-Based Air Defence (GBAD) field and, as an Instructor, you will prepare and deliver operational training to a ground-based air defence unit (VL MICA) for our client.

Reporting to the Training Manager, and following technical conversion training provided by the manufacturer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing courses and practical exercises.
• Delivering theoretical and practical instruction, including its application on simulator and in the field, for all sections of the unit.
• Ensuring quality control and compliance with DCI procedures.

Candidate profile

A former officer or senior non-commissioned officer of the Air Force or Army, you are recognised as an expert in artillery for the Ground-Based Air Defence field, with at least 10 years’ experience in this specialty. You have strong references and an in-depth knowledge of the SAMP/T and SACP systems (MCP, BCP, PCP, detachment drills) as well as their operational employment and 3D coordination.
