Grid Feasibility & Strategy
  • Conduct grid connection feasibility studies for new renewable energy projects.
  • Follow up and analyse grid capacity and constraints (current and future) using public and private data sources (e.g., Enedis maps, RTE open data, S3REnR, SDRE, ...). Define optimal connection strategies for renewable projects in collaboration with project development and engineering teams either to the Enedis medium-voltage (HTA) network or to the RTE high-voltage (HTB) network, including the development of a private substation where required.
Connection Process Management
  • Lead the application process for grid connection permits (PRAC, PTF, Connection Agreement (Convention de Raccordement, …)) throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with RTE, Enedis, and other DSOs throughout the connection lifecycle.
  • Monitor timelines, technical requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Technical Oversight
  • Prepare all necessary documents (technical data, single-line diagram, ...) for all grid connection applications (PRAC, PTF, Convention de raccordement, …).
  • Prepare all required documentation (technical data, single-line diagrams, ...) for permit applications related to private substations.
  • Analyse the grid connection offers provided by Enedis and / or RTE, and negotiate and validate with them the best connection solution for our projects.
