Your contribution:

As our dedicated Key Account Manager, your contribution plays a crucial role in the continued success of Clarios in the automotive aftermarket. Your commitment to achieving functional objectives and executing main tasks is key to our overall growth and prosperity.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Customer relationship management at all management levels and all relevant functions.
  2. Develop and implement account plans with your customers to create value and business results.
  3. Provide monthly forecasts, generate an understanding of risks and opportunities, track results and develop corrective actions if needed.
  4. Develop and implement Marketing activities in close alignment with the Marketing team.
  5. Ensure alignment and coordinate all customer specific activities with the internal teams across all countries or regions where your customer is active.
  6. Formulating and executing strategies to meet and exceed financial targets.
  7. Generate a full understanding of the markets your customers are in and its relevant players.
  8. Establish and nurture strong relationships with all management levels inside your customers.
  9. Proactively identify and solve challenges to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations.
  10. Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams, including logistics, finance, and marketing, to achieve organizational goals.

80% aftermarket African business and 20% France aftermarket.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees are advantageous.
  2. Proven track record in sales management or a similar role, ideally within the Automotive Aftermarket African continent is mandatory.
  3. Ability to lead and motivate a team of functional reports (if applicable), fostering a collaborative work environment.
  4. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills to navigate complex challenges. Basic SAP knowledge.
  5. Fluent in French and English.
  6. Demonstrated sense of ownership and commitment to achieving sales objectives.
  7. Proactive and results-oriented.
  8. Valuing collaboration and teamwork.
  9. Customer- and relationship-focused.
  10. Embracing innovation and being open to adopting new technologies.
  11. Willingness to travel within EMEA (mainly France and Africa) up to 35% of the time.
