The aim of the Graduate Program is to offer talented young people the opportunity to gain experience within the Group in order to acquire the professional skills needed to become a manager within the Group.

Job: Transportation Manager Junior

Where? Denmark

Missions :

  1. Oversee all transportation operations, including plane loading, delivery, ramp operations, and coordination with airport authorities.
  2. Manage team scheduling to ensure optimal service for clients and efficient use of company resources.
  3. Monitor and analyze delivery schedules to optimize routes.
  4. Ensure service and cost targets are met; develop and implement recommendations as needed.
  5. Participate in staff management at all levels, including hiring, training, discipline, promotions, work assignments, and monitoring hours.
  6. Oversee the entire transportation process, including inventory tracking and fleet management.
  7. Ensure compliance with company rules, labor legislation, and all applicable legal requirements.
  8. Prepare and implement procedures for maintaining cleanliness of vehicles, docks, and workstations.
  9. Work closely with the Quality Manager to control alerts and food safety issues.
  10. Perform daily checks on equipment and premises maintenance.
  11. Manage departmental performance through operational KPIs (e.g., punctuality, accidents, incidents) and share planned actions for expected improvements to meet Group standards.
  12. Provide root cause analysis reports in case of delay.
  13. Investigate and provide corrective actions to crew reports.
  14. Ensure proper implementation of Group tools (Flicare, Timeblock, Fraactal, etc.).
  15. Implement measures to achieve the primary goal of on-time delivery as determined by customers.
  16. Conduct physical audits on the ramp as required for operational purposes.
  17. Arrange and optimize schedules based on daily aircraft movements.
  18. Maintain close follow-up and effective communication with company customers.
  19. Ensure timely and accurate updates of passenger loads and services provided to clients.
  20. Support dispatch, drivers, duty managers, dock managers, and flight checkers and flight supervisors; cover shifts or find solutions as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  21. Provide proper reporting to the Operations Director and Unit Manager.
  22. Plan, optimize, and follow up on preventive and curative maintenance of the assigned fleet.
  23. Monitor and optimize fuel consumption for the assigned fleet.
  24. Ensure all employees comply with company rules and policies and adhere to uniforms.
  25. Oversee the proper use of equipment and vehicles.
  26. Enforce and monitor adherence to truck safety rules and traffic laws.
  27. Enforce safety rules regarding the unit building, equipment, and workstations.

Profile

Immediately out of school (less than two years) or after a few years' experience AND wishing to specialize or discover the airline catering environment in a position of responsibility.

A taste for challenge, commitment, the ability to learn and undertake.

Mobility oriented.

Training or experience in logistics, supply chain, and/or management is an asset.

Strong oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

Field experience in food handling, logistics, transportation, or the airline industry is required.

Capable of working under pressure without close supervision.

Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Strategic mindset with the ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts using innovative ideas.

Valid driving license and ability to obtain security clearance (Background check is mandatory).

Ability to meet all airport clearance requirements.
