Alignerr is seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst (AI Training) to join our remote, hourly-contract team. You will review policies, analyze controls, and help train AI systems to reason about security and compliance.

You will classify compliance scenarios across SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST; evaluate risk statements; and provide precise, structured feedback. Independent, self-driven work style is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on GRC, compliance, or risk management experience.
• Familiar with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST frameworks.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.

We're looking for experienced GRC professionals to help train and validate cutting-edge AI systems. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs — and we need practitioners who truly understand how security policies, compliance programs, audits, and risk management work inside real organizations.

What You'll Do

• Review and analyze security policies, controls, and procedures to evaluate AI-generated responses
• Classify and assess compliance scenarios across frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST
• Evaluate risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style documentation for accuracy and reasoning quality
• Generate and validate training data and evaluation benchmarks for AI systems
• Provide structured, precise written feedback that helps AI models improve their GRC reasoning
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management
• Familiar with one or more major frameworks — SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, or similar
• Comfortable reading, interpreting, and reasoning through policy and audit documentation
• Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills
• Able to work independently and deliver high-quality structured feedback

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, data quality, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in security auditing, third-party risk, or information security management
• Familiarity with how AI systems are trained or evaluated
