Job summary

Mistral is building sovereign AI infrastructure and software tooling to support frontier models and compute for enterprises across regulated environments. The team focuses on secure, isolated runtimes and scalable orchestration to run AI agents and reinforcement-learning workloads at fleet scale.

You will design and ship the runtime primitives that empower customers to build and deploy AI software on our platform, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to deliver robust,

Qualifications

• Deep Linux internals: namespaces, cgroups, seccomp, virtualization, etc.
• Strong backend/infrastructure engineering experience.
• Proven ability to collaborate with product, design and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Build the isolation layer: microVMs or containers, namespaces, cgroups, seccomp, snapshot and restore.
• Own security boundary; ensure safe execution of customer-provided code.
• Scale to fleets: manage creation latency, density, and lifecycle for thousands of environments.
• Write Go and own architecture decisions.
• Partner with Product Managers to turn frontier research into shippable primitives.
