Overview
As the Global Webhub Product Owner, you will lead the development and management of Motul's global webhub, Motul.com, Motultech.com, the corporate website and its ecosystem of websites. This role requires a deep understanding of both B2C and B2B customer segments, prioritizing features, and working closely with Business Units, partners, and product / communication teams to deliver a robust, user-friendly webhub. The position combines strategic thinking, customer empathy, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to drive revenue growth and enhance user experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the Motul.com webhub & Corporate Website.
- Analyze market trends, industry best practices, and competitor offerings to shape the platform's roadmap.
- Lead the transformation of motul.com to become an enabler for revenue growth.
- Customer Focus: Serve as the voice of the customer, gathering and analyzing feedback, NPS, and data dashboards.
- Collaborate with Key Users to tailor the platform to specific country channels.
- Ensure the quality and optimal experience of product catalogs, dealer locator and Oil advisor.
- Operational: Roadmap planning and feature development — Define and prioritize features, enhancements, and projects based on business objectives and customer feedback.
- Manage architecture improvements, including microservices and CMS management.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring the development team delivers high-quality features that meet user needs.
- Define and communicate clear requirements and acceptance criteria for new functionalities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to ensure understanding and provide business insight to developers.
- Oversee user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the webhub.
- Promote new features across BU by creating release notes and conducting monthly meetings.
- User Experience (UX) and Design: Ensure a seamless and engaging customer experience. Collaborate with external designers to optimize the experience based on user feedback.
- Traffic and Performance Optimization: Implement strategies to drive web traffic, enhance user engagement, and increase conversion rates.
- Coordinate strategy with the SEO agency and product team to drive organic traffic growth.
- Monitor KPIs to measure platform success (traffic, NPS, stability / security / speed).
Qualifications
- Experience needed: +5 years' experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
- Deep understanding of digital trends and customer needs.
- Strong project management and Agile development skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Familiarity with e-commerce technologies and tools.
- Knowledge of UX and UI design principles.
- Language: English proficiency mandatory; French proficiency desired.
- IT Knowledge: Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Web Analytics tools (GA, GSC, SEMRUSH): knowledge.
