Hubcycle in Avignon, France, is seeking a hands-on industrial expert to own and scale our contract manufacturing network. You will lead production readiness, set specifications, and drive performance across cost, lead time, yield and quality.

Travel to partners and piloting labs will be frequent as we build the first industrial pilot in our offices. You bring 7+ years in industrial production or process engineering within food/nutraceuticals, with a track record of scale-up and audits.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in industrial production, process engineering or contract/toll manufacturing management in food or nutraceutical ingredients.
• Experience across multiple processes (drying, extraction, milling, concentration, fermentation, etc.).
• Proven plant-level expertise: understands industrial equipment, processes, yields and constraints.
• Hands-on experience scaling products from lab/pilot to industrial scale and leading process transfers.
• Experience managing or coordinating external manufacturing partners, including audits and on-site troubleshooting.
• Solid knowledge of food-safety and quality frameworks (HACCP, FSSC 22000 or equivalent).
• Committed. Ready to travel internationally to sort out critical plant issues.
• Autonomous, hands-on and entrepreneurial — operate like a business owner.

Responsabilités

• Own manufacturing operations at Hubcycle & manage capabilities and planning.
• Act as the technical bridge between product, sourcing, quality teams and factories.
• Build and expand contract manufacturer networks across Europe and globally.
• Drive manufacturing performance: cost, lead time, yield, quality and reliability.
• Write and maintain specifications and cahiers des charges for products.
• Pilot transfers from recipe/lab to industrial-scale manufacturing.
• Create and manage an industrial pilot lab in our offices.
