GE HealthCare seeks a Technical Writer to develop and maintain operator and service documentation for complex medical systems. You will work with global teams to ensure clear, compliant, and user-focused materials in English.

The role involves applying structured authoring, DITA, and CMS tools, with emphasis on accuracy, regulatory alignment, and documentation quality across product lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Experience writing and editing technical documentation for hardware products or complex technical systems.
• Experience with structured authoring methodologies and DITA.
• Experience using CMS tools and XML-based authoring.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and with global, multicultural teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and manage documentation for complex hardware-based systems.
• Author, review, edit, and update operator and technical service documentation in English.
• Ensure documentation complies with GE HealthCare standards and regulatory requirements.
• Create and deliver complete operator and service documentation releases aligned with product milestones.
• Identify and resolve documentation defects.
• Collaborate with engineering, service, quality, regulatory, and product teams to organize technical information.
• Participate in documentation verification and testing on systems as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation quality and efficiency.
