The Global Technical Director of the Water, Environment and Energy Transition Service Line plays a key role in developing and optimizing technical expertise across water, environment, and energy projects worldwide. Reporting to the Global Director of the WEET Service Line, the Technical Director ensures excellence, innovation, and quality across all markets. This role involves close collaboration with operational and technical teams in various regions while leading a global network of technical experts.

The Global Technical Director of the WEET Line is responsible for defining and implementing a global technical strategy that addresses the challenges of ecological and energy transition, as well as emerging eco-conception and construction models. The Director ensures that projects meet the highest quality standards while fostering synergies and promoting the sharing of best practices across regions.
Responsibilities
- International technical vision and strategy:
- Develop and implement a global technical strategy for the WEET Service Line, considering industry trends such as sustainability, ecological transition, energy efficiency, new construction models, and digital integration, in collaboration with the digital director of the SL.
- Ensure technical consistency and compliance of projects with international and local standards.
Global technical network management:- Structure and lead an international network of technical experts, promoting knowledge exchange and best practice sharing in collaboration with Business Line Technical Direction.
- Leverage regional expertise to address complex project needs and ensure high technical performance.
- Define critical expertise needs and lead the development plan (recruitment, M&A) with regional input.
- Oversee feedback processes and disseminate lessons learned across regions.
Technical excellence and innovation:- Guarantee application of best technical practices through audits, incident tracking, and control procedures.
- Promote innovation, especially through digital tools (BIM, AI, automation) and eco-conception, collaborating with Group Innovation and Digital Directions.
- Define a technological roadmap aligned with strategic directions.
Synergies and international cooperation:- Collaborate with other Service Lines to develop synergies and pool expertise on high-value projects.
- Contribute to the SL's global strategy, including acquisitions, due diligence, and partnerships.
- Represent Egis's technical expertise externally and promote the group's capabilities.
- Build partnerships with environmental and water stakeholders.
Resource management and skill development:- Participate in recruitment, development, and management of global technical teams.
- Ensure skill development through training and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Align resources with project needs in production, innovation, and commercial performance.
- Establish production centers and Centers of Excellence.
Minimum Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent, with at least 15 years of experience in water and/or environment sectors, especially in technical fields.
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex international projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and adaptability skills in multicultural environments.
- An innovation-driven mindset capable of leading transformation efforts.
