Job summary

AIRBUS SAS is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist to join the POMDB department in Toulouse, France. You will work within the Detail Parts Supply Team to secure on-time aircraft deliveries by overseeing 15 hard metal machining, forming and turning suppliers.

The role focuses on APQP artifacts, QMS audits (EN9100/EASA), root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement, with English proficiency and French negotiation skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum professional experience in Supply Chain and Quality or Engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of APQP methods (FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC).
• Experience auditing QMS against EN9100 and EASA standards.
• Proven problem-solving using 8D and Lean tools.
• Advanced English; French negotiation level.

Responsibilities

• Deploy APQP deliverables with suppliers to secure convergence to industrial maturity targets.
• Perform product and QMS audits to evaluate compliance with EN9100, EASA and Airbus standards.
• Drive root cause analysis and 8D/9S-based problem resolution for supplier quality events.
• Analyze supplier performance KPIs and implement derisking, improvement and recovery plans.
• Define and monitor supplier surveillance plans and concrete mitigation actions.
