Job summary

Socomec is seeking a seasoned Supplier Quality professional to manage supplier quality across France and internationally, from qualification to serial production. You will work with Purchasing, R&D, Industrialisation and other Quality teams to build strong supplier relationships and improve supplier maturity.

You will lead non-conformity resolution, audits, and risk-based monitoring while traveling roughly one week per month to supplier sites globally.

Qualifications

• 10 years of supplier or industrial quality experience.
• Hands-on supplier audits and non-conformity management.
• Fluent English for supplier/international teams.
• Strong quality methods and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
• Qualify new suppliers, from self-assessments to on-site audits, to meet Socomec requirements.
• Conduct technical visits and process audits (VDA 6.3) and manage associated action plans.
• Ensure ongoing supplier monitoring during serial production based on risk and changes.
• Map and classify suppliers by risk to adjust audit/visit frequencies and performance reviews.
• Travel mainly to supplier sites in France and internationally, about one week per month.
