Socomec Sas is seeking a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to manage the quality and development of a portfolio of suppliers in France and abroad, covering various component families and finished products. You will report to the Supplier Quality Manager and contribute to proactive risk management across the full lifecycle from qualification to serial production.

• Higher education degree in a technical or quality-related field with significant supplier/industrial quality experience.
• 10 years of experience, including hands-on supplier audits.
• Strong quality method knowledge: non-conformity management, crisis management, problem-solving, action plans, and performance monitoring.
• Fluent English for regular communication with suppliers and international teams.

Responsabilidades

• Manage supplier non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
• Qualify new suppliers, review self-assessments, and conduct on-site audits to ensure compliance.
• Conduct technical visits and process audits (VDA 6.3) and document findings with action plans.
• Ensure ongoing supplier monitoring during serial production based on risk and changes.
• Map and classify suppliers by risk to adjust audit and review frequencies.
• Travel to supplier sites in France and internationally (~one week per month).
