Groupe Lactalis, leader mondial de l'industrie laitière, recherche un Global Sourcing Category Manager pour les catégories de plastiques flexibles. Vous serez responsable de la gestion des budgets, de l'optimisation des fournisseurs, et de la mise en œuvre de stratégies clés pour soutenir la durabilité. Ce rôle dynamique nécessite au moins 8 ans d'expérience dans l'approvisionnement et des compétences fortes en négociation.

Qualifications

• Minimum de 8 ans d'expérience en approvisionnement, sourcing de matériaux directs.
• Bonnes compétences en gestion de projet et négociation.
• Fluent en anglais, le français est un plus.

Responsabilités

• Gérer 1 acheteur de catégorie globale et un réseau fonctionnel de plus de 15 acheteurs régionaux.
• Définir les stratégies des catégories en collaboration avec les parties prenantes.
• Concevoir les feuilles de route pour l'exécution.

SCOPE

We are hiring a new talent as Global Sourcing Category Manager for Flexible Plastic Categories, responsible for a spend of >

130 million in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia & Oceania

Part of the Global Sourcing Packaging Category team with a direct report to the Global Category Director, this is a challenging, highly dynamic and visible role that will see you leading key strategic projects to optimize the quality, service, costs, innovation and cash performance of your categories. You will also be part of the Lactalis sustainable roadmap with highly key topics and challenges on flexible plastic packaging.

Your MISSION & CHALLENGES :

As a Global Sourcing Manager, you will :

• Manage 1 global category buyer and lead a functional network of 15+ regional / local buyers
• Define with all relevant Stakeholders (R&D, Industrial, Quality, Marketing...) the strategies of the categories you have in charge with your team, taking into consideration the internal and external partners (Lactalis countries, Market environment, Suppliers...)
• Design the roadmaps for execution
• Drive the strategies with your local counterparts (local buyers and R&D) and monitor its progress
• Define, drive and optimize our global supplier’s portfolio as well as monitoring their performance
• Participate in the budget (Commodities assumptions and saving plans)
• Maintain an active innovation watch
• Be part of the Lactalis sustainable roadmap
• Lead the Flexible packaging action plan in the new acquisitions in finding quick synergies to help the Lactalis Group growth
• Develop Market knowledge and Expertise (including upstream markets), Deploy best practises within the group by active benchmark

This position requires frequent travels abroad (10 to 30% of the time), mainly in Europe.

WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR US ?

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in procurement, direct materials sourcing
• Good understanding of packaging or plastic materials, ability to understand technical topics
• Good communicator, team spirit, entrepreneurial, results driven with Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good leadership and ability to help the team growing and achieve challenges & targets
• Category strategical vision
• Strong negotiation and project management skills
• Able to set priorities, to take some distance, and be pragmatic
• Languages : Fluent in English is a must have. French would be a plus
