Qualifications

Job title: Global Social Media Manager

Location: Paris

About the role

Reporting to the Global Head of E-Commerce and Digital, you will be responsible for developing the brand’s presence across all social platforms, driving visibility, and implementing activations, content, and social media concepts aligned with the brand’s image and identity.

As part of your role, you will collaborate closely with the Marketing, Public Relations, and Studio teams to ensure a seamless and innovative social media strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Owned Social:

  • Develop and operate an impactful social media strategy in collaboration with the Marketing, E-commerce and Studio team.
  • The management of external agencies and internal stakeholders, ensuring operational excellence in editorial calendar management, content creation, community management, and crisis handling across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and more.
  • Coordinate closely with the studio department and maintain a dynamic interaction with creative teams to ensure that social media content is innovative, on-brand, and leverages the latest digital trends and technologies. This collaboration aims to challenge and enhance content development strategies, ensuring alignment with the brand’s high standards and aesthetic.
  • Coordinate closely with regional teams across UK, US, UAE and more to ensure local relevancy and global brand consistency.

Paid Social:

  • Work closely with the global marketing and paid media teams to develop and operate global paid social media strategies to boost brand awareness and engagement.
  • Manage social campaign operations from briefing to asset management, media planning, performance tracking, and post-campaign analysis.

Earned Social:

  • Collaborate with the PR global team and teams across UK, US and UAE to leverage influencer partnerships and KOLs effectively across key markets to amplify brand reach and authenticity.
  • Drive initiatives that merge owned, earned, and paid social media efforts to optimize overall brand interaction and customer engagement.

Reporting and social listening:

  • Develop and refine reporting frameworks for assessing performance across all social media activities, providing strategic insights and actionable feedback to senior management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators including follower growth, engagement rates, ROI, and brand sentiment to guide future social media strategies.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Oversee vendor and agency relationships, conducting regular reviews and negotiations to ensure top-notch service and innovative solutions.
  • Manage budgets and financial planning for social media activities, ensuring cost-effective strategies that deliver measurable results.

  • Strong interest in innovation and new platforms to keep the brand at the forefront of digital trends.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of managing cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for luxury and a keen eye for emerging digital trends.
  • Exceptional understanding of social media platforms, both from a strategic and operational perspective, with a proven track record of scaling social media presence.

Desired Background and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Digital, Marketing or Communications.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in social media management within the luxury sector.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in French or other languages being advantageous.
