Job summary

Amadeus is seeking a Senior Manager of UX Design & Research to lead strategy, research, and design excellence for Airline Solutions. You will guide a global team of UX Designers and Researchers, partnering with Product, Engineering, Services and Business leaders to ensure customer insights shape product direction and innovation.

The role focuses on applying AI responsibly to enhance airline product experiences, research practices, and customer value, while driving UX maturity across complex

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in UX Design, UX Research, Service Design, Product Design, or related field.
• Significant experience leading multidisciplinary and geographically distributed UX teams.
• Proven success influencing product strategy through customer insights.
• Strong background in enterprise software or travel industry advantageous.
• Experience partnering with Product Management and Engineering in Agile environments.
• Experience applying AI-enabled design, research, and product discovery practices, with usability, trust, transparency, and responsible adoption.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Define the UX vision and strategy for Airline Solutions from airline & traveller perspectives.
• Lead a global UX organization and develop UX Managers, Designers and Researchers at all levels.
• Build a strong research culture grounded in evidence-based decision making.
• Influence product direction with Product and Engineering partners to guide strategy and discovery.
• Scale UX practices with standards, governance, and measurement.
• Represent UX across the organization with senior leadership and stakeholders.
