Une entreprise leader dans le domaine des services de test et de certification recherche un Responsable Commercial pour développer ses activités auprès des clients dans l'industrie de la vente au détail. Le candidat idéal possédera un master en ventes ou en ingénierie, au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans le secteur, et un excellent savoir-faire en négociation et en communication, particulièrement dans le contexte français. Ce rôle est essentiel pour établir des relations solides avec les clients et améliorer l'offre de services proposés.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 ans d'expertise dans l'industrie de la vente au détail ou développement de produits.
  • Expérience dans l'industrie de la vente au détail ou des tests en France requise.

Description du poste

Position and sell the full suite of services to prospective customers (retailers, importers, purchasing offices, manufacturers, e-commerce) and their supply chain, including services such as product safety testing, pre-shipment inspection, social compliance auditing, and sustainability services.

Act as the single point of contact for queries related to Business Lines Hardlines, Toys, and ENE.

Service ongoing customer needs

Achieve sales revenue and profit margin targets; cascade these targets to respective countries, considering local industry business climate and opportunities.

Work closely with various country/divisional managers to develop and service sales, pricing, and marketing strategies.

Develop strong business relationships with quality personnel of key clients.

Stay informed about technical and commercial developments in the market and recommend service development opportunities.

Enhance industry awareness by attending relevant industry conferences.

Lead market research projects to identify trends, new opportunities, market share analysis, and gather marketing intelligence.

Attend industry seminars and events as required

Develop customer-specific concepts and commercialize existing services (testing, certification, inspection, audits), leveraging technical expertise in global market access and industry standards.

Handle the entire sales process from proposal preparation to sale realization.

Collaborate with international laboratories and technical governance departments.

Participate in national and international tenders.

A master's degree (or equivalent) in sales or a related discipline, or an engineering degree with minimum 5 years of expertise in the retail industry or product development.

Experience in retail or testing industry in France is required.

Proven track record in sales, account management, merchandising, or quality assurance, engaging with quality executives of large retailers, brands, and wholesalers.

Knowledge of international regulations, EU directives, national deviations, and requirements of renowned brands in Softlines, Hardlines, Toys, and ENE testing.

Having connections with industry associations in France is advantageous.

Possess a broad client contact base and knowledge of sales trends in the consumer products sector.

Strong business acumen and understanding of the Hardlines & ENE supply chain, including product quality and specifications.

Knowledge of pricing strategies for testing, auditing, and inspection services.

Ability to interpret technical information and communicate in understandable terms.

Interest in new business development.

Excellent networking, negotiation, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Proven ability to work with customers to understand requirements, secure additional business, solve problems, and ensure satisfaction.

Organizational skills to prioritize daily activities in a resource-constrained environment.

Ability to work independently and in teams, with an appreciation for cultural diversity.

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Proficiency in French (native level), and fluency in German and English.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Confident, efficient, self-motivated, and willing to travel.
