Job summary

Allianz Trade in Paris offers an internship in Risk Management within the Specialty Credit – Mid Term division. You will support risk analysis and learn about international trade finance for exporters, banks, and multilateral institutions.

Working with a global team across London, Paris, New York, and Singapore, you will develop analytical skills, assist in monitoring risk activities, and contribute to research on geopolitical and sectoral topics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's +4/5 (Master's level) in engineering and/or Business School, University - International Trade / Finance.
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• English is mandatory with excellent written and spoken proficiency.
• Excellent thinking, analytical, synthesis, and writing skills; interest in geopolitics and financial analysis.
• Autonomy and curiosity; team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Preparing risk analysis memos (financial, geopolitical, macroeconomic, and transactional analysis).
• Assisting with projects related to procedures or research for the department.
• Assisting in monitoring risk activities and managing the database.
• Supporting underwriting teams, including information requests from credit analysts in Allianz Trade subsidiaries.
• Conducting research on geopolitical and sectoral topics (commodities, banks, macroeconomics, infrastructure).
