Overview

Captura Search is conducting this exclusive executive search on behalf of our institutional asset management client. They are looking for an experienced and motivated Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Programme Management professional to lead the multi-year project to deliver a new Data Management solution. The role requires combining program management experience with deep data management expertise to own risks and issues and drive the program forward.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire program lifecycle including program value management and alignment of projects to client business values and objectives.
• Lead complex multi-year EDM programs in APAC from a functional expert perspective. Complexity includes the full enterprise ecosystem, upstream and downstream systems, and governance context with C-level steering committees and multi-party contractual constructs in a transformational process.
• Establish and manage program governance covering internal and external stakeholders and processes for program and project progress and assurance.
• Drive transformation including change management and business process adjustments.
• Plan and manage projects in terms of scope, resources, financials, stakeholders, dependencies and risks.

Experience & Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent.
• 10 years of data management experience with strong business acumen and deep functional knowledge.
• Project management experience delivering large-scale fixed-price programmes.
• Preferably experience in FinTech vendor environments with products such as IHS Markit EDM (Cadis), NeoXam DataHUB, Simcorp GAIN (AIM Software), Asset Control, GoldenSource, BNY Mellon (Eagle Investment Systems Data Management), Smartstream (RDU Reference Data Utility), FIS (Data Management), Finastra (Data Management), Broadridge Systems (Data Management), or related EDM/MDM engagements; and experience with a management consultancy specializing in major EDM/MDM projects.
• APAC business experience is highly beneficial but not required.
• Specific data program skills include: implementing a data strategy based on proven data management transition processes and best-practice data and workflow experiences; covering data governance framework and data stewardship, owners and custodians; adapting governance maturity to as-is and to-be states; sizing security deployment concepts; and fluency in English.

Location & Availability
