Position Overview
The Global Production Director is responsible for overseeing and advancing the planning and quality of production efforts for permanent attractions. This role is essential in supporting the company's expansion strategy by ensuring successful project delivery, maintaining high production standards, and achieving operational excellence across each line of expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Expansion Support
- Develop comprehensive plans for permanent attraction projects, coordinating cross-functional teams to align on goals, budgets, and timelines.
- Conduct feasibility studies for potential expansion opportunities, assessing resource needs, estimated costs, and operational impacts.
- Drive the creation of a phased expansion roadmap aligned with corporate growth strategies.
- Production Oversight & Project Management
- Lead and manage production teams to deliver projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Establish and implement standardized production processes to ensure consistency and quality across projects and regions.
- Make key decisions on technical requirements, resource allocation, and vendor selection.
- Assess current workflows and processes, challenge approaches, and suggest creative improvements.
- Talent Development & Team Coordination
- Build, train, and manage production teams focused on permanent attractions.
- Support team members' professional growth through training, mentoring, and feedback.
- Ensure local producers have necessary tools and resources.
- Standardize communication and reporting for project tracking.
- Foster effective collaboration between regional and global teams.
Venue Feasibility & Rollout Oversight
- Oversee venue feasibility assessments to ensure locations meet practical and convenience requirements.
- Act as the central point for venue adaptations, including layout, materials, HVAC, and infrastructure modifications.
- Work with local teams to streamline venue validation, approval, and permitting processes.
Technical Implementation & Optimization
- Standardize deployment of playbooks across sites and partnerships.
- Share learnings to mitigate technical disruptions.
- Coordinate vendor relationships and technology requirements.
- Explore opportunities to optimize technical platforms for faster expansion.
Resource Logistics & Technical Management
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships for timely delivery and quality.
- Develop logistics and support frameworks for equipment handling and setup.
- Coordinate asset management across projects.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Establish quality and safety standards in coordination with internal teams.
- Conduct audits and reviews to ensure standards are met.
- Implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Financial Management & Budgeting
- Guide production budgets and ensure clarity and consistency.
- Partner with finance to monitor expenditures, identify savings, and meet financial goals.
- Align spending with strategic objectives and control overspending.
Industry Trends & Innovation
- Stay updated on trends in live entertainment and attractions.
- Collaborate with creative and technical teams to incorporate new ideas and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications
- 8-10 years in live entertainment production with creative involvement.
- Strong leadership, project management, and creative evaluation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Production, Fine Arts, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of global entertainment markets and industry trends.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
