The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is offering an internship for a Fragrance Product Development Assistant at Kilian Paris, based in Paris 75002.

You will join the Product Development team to support fragrance projects from concept to launch in a fast-paced luxury environment. Responsibilities include cross-functional coordination, olfactory evaluations, packaging input, market research, and concept development.

Qualifications

• Student in a Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
• A first experience in marketing; fragrance marketing development is a plus, beauty / project management experience is valued.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Support development of fragrance projects in cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, R&D, Packaging, Procurement, Supply Chain, Creative, Retail, Education and external partners.
• Participate in olfactory evaluations and follow-up of fragrance development.
• Assist in packaging development with attention to detail (sample evaluations and artwork).
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research on fragrances, trends and innovations.
• Contribute to concept development through research, mood boards, and naming proposals.
• Prepare presentations, product decks, and assist in meetings.
• Manage fragrance and packaging samples, including ordering and tracking deliveries.
• Update and maintain existing product collections with accurate information.

Job Description

As a Fragrance Product Development Assistant, you will support the Product Development team throughout the lifecycle of fragrance projects, from initial concept to launch. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the development of fragrance projects in close collaboration with internal teams (Marketing, R&D, Packaging, Procurement, Supply Chain, Creative, Retail, Education) and external partners (perfume houses, creative and mock-up agencies), ensuring clear cross-functional coordination and smooth project execution
• Participating in olfactory evaluations and supporting the follow-up of fragrance development
• Assisting in packaging development with strong attention to detail (sample evaluations and follow up, artwork development...)
• Conducting competitive analysis and market research on fragrances, trends, and innovations
• Contributing to concept development through research, mood boards creation, and naming proposals
• Preparing presentations, product decks, and supporting the preparation of meetings
• Managing fragrance and packaging samples, including ordering, tracking, and coordinating deliveries and shipments
• Updating and maintaining existing product collections, ensuring accuracy of information, formulations, and packaging details

This internship offers a hands-on experience in the creation of luxury fragrances within a dynamic and creative environment.

Required Quality

• Student in a Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field

• Fluent in French and English
