Manitou Group is seeking a Product Compliance and Safety Engineer to safeguard product integrity, safety, and regulatory alignment across the global off-highway equipment market. You will work with R&D, Quality Assurance and Legal to ensure compliance throughout design, manufacture and shipment.

The role requires hands-on risk assessment, global standard interpretation and collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve safety concerns and support investigations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in product safety, regulatory compliance, or regulated product engineering in related industry
• Experience in product safety, regulatory compliance, or quality assurance

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with global Standards and Regulations team on global initiatives and regulatory committees
• Apply global standards and certifications with Engineering teams ensuring regulatory compliance
• Perform risk assessments, hazard analyses (e.g., FMEA), and safety reviews
• Maintain compliance files, test reports, and safety documentation
• Assess regulatory impact of design changes on certifications
• Interpret standards and regulations into clear technical requirements
• Investigate product safety concerns and lead corrective actions
• Support legal team on product litigation and incident investigations
