NextPharma is a fast-growing European pharmaceutical CDMO with operations across Europe. We seek a driven Business Development Director to lead new business generation for non-sterile liquids and topicals, building a robust pipeline and converting opportunities into contracts.

You will work closely with global clients and site teams, manage strategic territory coverage, and travel for meetings to help achieve annual revenue targets and shape NextPharma’s commercial strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of business development experience in the pharmaceutical CDMO industry, preferably in EU-speaking regions.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of drug development and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
• Solid technical expertise in Pharma/CDMO services.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Lead new business generation in the pharmaceutical CDMO space for non-sterile liquids and topicals.
• Analyze industry trends and data to identify high-potential markets.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline from lead generation to contract closure.
• Ensure strategic coverage across all markets and customer segments.
• Drive revenue growth and meet annual sales targets through proactive engagement and deal execution.
• Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical, project management and operations teams to align customer needs with capabilities.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics using CRM tools.
