Job summary

SKF Group is seeking an experienced Product Development and Engineering Manager for Electronics and Controllers to lead a multinational team across sites and countries. You will steer technical direction, translate product needs into requirements, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery from concept to lifecycle support.

You will manage electronic boards, sensors and controllers within lubrication systems, with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration, compliance and industrialization

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience in product development and engineering.
• Strong understanding of electronic hardware development, system integration, verification and validation, industrialization and product lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-site teams, develop people, set priorities and deliver through collaboration in a matrix organization.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
• Experience with industrial controllers, embedded software, connectivity or IoT solutions.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, product certification and collaboration with external development partners or certification institutions.
• Experience balancing new product development with sustain engineering, obsolescence management and technical support.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a multinational Product Development and Engineering team distributed across several sites and countries.
• Set technical direction and coordinate development of electronic boards, sensors, controllers and system solutions from concept to series production and lifecycle support.
• Translate global business and product needs into clear technical requirements, priorities, development plans, interfaces and resource needs.
• Lead complex development projects and ensure targets for functionality, quality, cost and schedule are met, initiating corrective actions when required.
• Ensure robust design, verification, validation, documentation, industrialization readiness and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Build strong collaboration across cultures, sites and functions, creating alignment around common technical priorities and ways of working.
• Coordinate technical support, sustain engineering and continuous improvement activities across the product lifecycle.
